Owner and colorist; Born and raised in San Francisco's Mission district, Marie was always the one who family and friend came to for color. Encouraged by her grandmother to pursue a career in hair, Marie soon found her true calling. After a brief stint in a smaller salon, she found her way to Cowboys and Angels Salon. Studying under the talented Atis Zulgis, Marie was able to perfect her talent for buttery blondes and rich brunettes. Working in Union Square since 1993, she has continued to take advanced training classes at the Bumble and Bumble Academy in New York and the Vidal Sassoon school in Santa Monica. Marie is a mentor to many young colorists and is looking forward to creating a community of talented stylists with Katie Casey at Harper Paige.

Starting his education at 18, Mica began as an apprentice at the respected midtown Sacramento salon Michael Mason working under the talented Michael Kastan as well as stylists from such famed SF salons as Architects & Heros and Oxen Rose. After several years of intensive training and education along with a large and dedicated following he decided to create his own space, Lotus. His salon opened in a fabulous Spanish style warehouse in 2004 and was quickly rated as one of the top 100 salons on City Search and MSM and received mention in Glamour, Elle Girl, Sac News & Review and other local publications. Meanwhile, Mica travelled the world for pleasure, knowledge and inspiration. In the years following he has lived and worked on the island of Maui, Lake Tahoe and now lives Sausalito. He spends his free time restoring vintage furniture, collecting old books and obsessing on the beauty of motorcycles and automobiles. All of which have contributed greatly in shaping his vision, craft and style. He specializes in soft, structured or classic cuts, subtle, natural color and is known for his gorgeous finish work. Now he has come to find a new place to call home in the bay and a superb team and workshop at Harper Paige salon.
As a young girl in Palm Springs, it was obvious that Brandie was destined to do hair. Brandie was never shy about cutting her own hair if it wasn't right and she frequently practicing on her cousins. At 12 she discovered Vogue and fell in love with the hair and costumes used to create the stories. Brandie moved to San Francisco to be near her favorite aunt, a well known local business owner. Shortly after arriving in the city she got a job at the S.F. Opera in the costume department. During her time at the opera she found herself gravitating toward the hair more then the costumes, and decided to go to beauty school. She began her training at the prestiges Cowboys and Angels salon under Michelle Snyder and Marcy Harmon. Since beginning her journey more than a decade ago Brandie has always been a dedicated teacher and now is the head of education at Harper Paige salon. Brandie's style is a mix of gypsy Stevie Knicks meets California casual. She has a cult following of people ranging from hipsters to housewives, CEO'S to college students. She draws her inspiration from Pattie Smith, Anita Pallenberg, and Diane Keaton (circa 1970). When Brandie is not doing hair, she enjoys making custom natural perfumes and exploring the natural beauty the bay area has to offer.

There she spent three transformational years training with some of New York's hair masters. Having the opportunity to go to fashion week, work on numerous editorial fashion and creative shoots, and styling the main wig for a broadway play were highlights of her time spent there.
